Seamus Kelly has left Ninian Park. He has signed for St Patricks (Dublin) and makes his debut against Dundee Utd in a pre season friendly at Richmond Park tomorrow. Cardiff City Online would like to thank Seamus for his time at Ninian Park especially for his efforts in gaining promotion last year. Best wished for the future. The St Pats website says "Manager Pat Dolan
commented: "Ive been chasing Seamus for several months and I am now delighted
that the deal is concluded. He is a top class performer and has a first class attitude and
work ethic. With Trevor Wood returning to Britain, it was important to replace him with
someone with potential and a pedigree. We are building a new team and getting the right
"keeper is crucial to our plans." Jason Fowler has agreed to stay at Ninian Park. The player verbally agreed a three year contract with Billy Ayre today and hopes to complete the signing on Monday. Fowler had attracted the interest of several clubs but looks set to remain at Ninian Park. |
