Local bookies Jack Brown have suspended bets on Bobby Gould becoming the next manager of Cardiff City. One punter bet £2000 while another tried to bet £4000.Gould was 10/1 but a rush of bets reduced him to an odds on favourite. Betting was then suspended as the bookies felt that someone must know something when a rush of bets all come in at the same time. Gould obviously is linked after the agreement by Sam Hammam to buy the club. Only two days ago Sam backed Billy Ayre as Cardiff manager. Neither Billy or Bobby have commented on the matter. |
