The injury sustained at Caernarfon to Jason Fowler's foot will keep him out of the game against Cambridge on Saturday. Russell Perrett and Mike Ford, who both missed the trip to Caernarfon on Tuesday are hoping to be back in contention for Saturday. Their absence on Tuesday was more precautionary than anything else.

City will need to be at their best when relegation strugglers Cambridge come to town on Saturday. United have only lost one of their last six away games and that form has lifted then out of the relegation zone. Cambridge are currently 4 points ahead of us but have played a game more. A win for City is vital if we are to keep the relegation battle to six clubs. With Chesterfield 99.9% relegated and Scunthorpe and Blackpool playing each other its a great oportunity for City to enhance their own survival chances.

Cambridge's main threat will come from Trevor Benjamin. The striker has scored in each of the last 8 games he has played for Cambridge. United also have experience in goal with former Sunderland keeper Lionel Perez between the sticks.

With the match at the Abbey Stadium still fresh in the memory Cambridge will be looking to avenge the battling 8 man performance that saw City hold out for a goalless draw.
