City have been rocked today by the news that striker Rob Earnshaw will be out for upto 6 weeks after injuring his knee early in the game at Blackpool. Rob won City the penalty for the Bluebirds and  he scored against Bournemouth last week, his recall was the right thing to do.

Now City will have to face most of the rest of the season without him, its a double blow as Kevin Nugent (unless successful with an appeal) will have to sit out three matches, his ban for violent conduct against Bournemouth. Kevin is due to miss the games at Chesterfield, Reading and the home game against Burnley.

Billy Ayres first reaction to the Nugent ban was to recall Chris Roberts from Drogheda. Now only Jamie Hughes is out on loan at Cwmbran. All other loan players have returned.
