The story breaking about Andy McDermott has been quashed by the club. They say that Billy has spoken to Andy but no deal will happen. He is one of a number of players Billy has been in talks with but there is no further interest. Its reported that the player will now join Perugia in Italy for a trial ater turning down the chance of a trial at Juventus.

So the only name we have at the moment for a possible right back is a loan deal with Wolves for Ryan Green but thats been in the system for a couple of weeks now. Paul Brayson is still expected to sign. Chris Roberts is attracting interest from Shrewsbury while Jorn Schwinkendorf has returned to Germany and is not expected to return.

Ex City player Lee Jarman is having trials at Oxford Utd, former skipper Mike Ford is now a coach at Oxford and former Chief Exec Joan Hill also works at the Manor Ground.
