City were two down after 12 minutes. A goal after 35 seconds from Gill and a penalty on 12 mins from Hills looked to have buried the Bluebirds but a Nugent penalty after Rob Earnshaw was fouled on 18 mins and a Jason Bowen header on 45 minutes brought the Blues level. The second half belonged to Cardiff but all the efforts to beat Barnes in the Tangerines goal failed and its another 2 points lost. Although after being 2 down it could be seen as a point gained.
