Conference side Chester came back from 2 - 0 down to beat second division Oxford 3 - 2 at the Deva. A sorry result for Oxford who are already odds on for relegation to division 3.

Morecambe FC faced a hard task against 2nd div Cambridge on the North West coast and came away from the game with the same dream as Cardiff. A big 3rd round draw. The non leaguers scored their winner (in a 2 -1  win) with 15 min to go.

There were also wins for Dagenham away at Lincoln and Kinstonian away at Southport. Dagenham scored a 90th minute winner against Phil Stants team and former Cardiff City centre half Mark Harris scored for Kingstonian as they progressed to round 3.

Bournemouth, Bristol City, Carlisle, Rotherham, Scunthorpe and Swindon are the other league clubs to join City in the next round of the FA Cup.

But of cousrse we don't want to meet them. Bring on the big boys.
