Steve Borley and Sam Hammam last night shook hands on deal to allow Hammam to join Cardiff City Football Club. The exact financial parts of the deal are as yet unknown but its thought to involve a £3m investment which will give Hammam control of the club.

Sam Hammam held a meeting with City fans yesterday afternoon at the Friendly Hotel in Cardiff. A couple of hours later Hammam met Steve Borley and they agreed a deal. From what I understand City's other directors were contacted by phone and gave their approval of the deal.

Now pen has to put to paper and the full details will emerge.

As any more news comes available I'll let you know.
