Mixed emotions about this one. A draw was on the cards. Bristol City were ubeaten in 12 home games this season, 9 of them draws. Cardiff do not seem capable of winning at the moment so a draw was a good bet. But it could have been more. Bristol City had a good goal disallowed and a man sent off for arguing about it on 44 mins. Cardiff have been short of this sort of luck for a while. It could have been the start of a revival but no. Poor play and at times negative play resulted in a 0 - 0 scoreline. There were moments, the game to a neutral was pretty exciting. Both goalkeepers earned their pennies. Richard Carpenter saw a spectacular shot dip late and crass off the bar and post. Jason Fowler was denied by a fantastic save from Mercer. Bristol were always a threat but they similar problems to Cardiff. They cannot get into winning ways either. |
