Brighton are the visitors to Ninian Park tomorrow. The Seagulls bring former City players Charlie Oatway and Richard Carpenter back to Cardiff. There are two Brighton old boys in the City squad. Kurt Nogan, who celebrates his birthday tomorrow, and  keeper Mark Walton.

City look like they will keep a similar line up to the team that did well against Crystal Palace in midweek. Its thought that Rob Earnshaw may get a start up front in place of Kurt Nogan. Earnshaw played 45 minutes of the reserve game yesterday but was withdrawn without reason at half time. Speculation is that he will be put into the starting line up. Paul Brayson is fit again after missing the Palace game with hamstring trouble, but he may be placed on the bench. City also have Matt Brazier, Jason Bowen and and Josh Low available for selection. Jason Fowler is still out of the squad, the player is suffering from an lack of energy and generally feeling run down. The club are sending him for blood tests to try and sort out the problem. Scott Young was training again today and is an outside candidate for a squad place tomorrow.

It looks as if Gethin Jones and Kevin Evans will keep their places in the team after excellent performances in midweek.

City have a 21 man squad available for selection. The line up will probably be Walton, Gabbidon, Greene, Jones, McCulloch, Evans, Bonner, Hill, Legg, Nugent, Nogan or Earnshaw. With the subs being selected from Brayson, Low, Bowen, Brazier, Hallworth, Eckhardt, Thomas, Sheridan and Scott Young.

Brighton squad. Cartwright, Watson, may, Cullip, Wicks, Brooker, Oatway, Carpenter, Jones, Zamora, Hart, Davis, Kuipers, Rogers, Milton, Ramsay, Thomas. Watch out for Bobby Zamora, the former Bristol Rovers striker signed for the Seagulls for £100,000 in the summer and has helped himself to a goal a game this season.

Preview from BBC Wales.
Cardiff City boss Bobby Gould's injury problems have been lifted ahead of the Bluebirds' clash against Brighton.

Jason Bowen, Paul Brayson, Josh Low and Matthew Brazier all returned to training in midweek and are available for Saturday's encounter.

Scott Young could also be in contention for a starting place and faces a late fitness test.

Gould has also been boosted by the news that long-term casualty Russell Perrett will start training next week.

Brighton will be unchanged for the trip to Cardiff as they look to build on last week's crushing 6-2 win over Exeter.

Assistant manager Alan Cork said: "Everyone's fit and raring to go. We'll take the same squad to Cardiff as we did to Millwall in midweek."

The Seagulls will still be without Andy Crosby who completes his three-match suspension this weekend.

Cork has been impressed with Argyle's recent form, and added: "We've been playing well, and hope to continue the run."
