City have extended the loan period of Daniel Gabbidon. The W.B.A. right back has impressed in his last few performances and will stay as cover for the injured Andy Thompson. Thompson will have surgery today on the injury sustained early in the match against Blackpool a few weeks ago. It is a major blow for Andy and he will be out for at least another month. Better news though some of the other injured players. Matt Brazier, Josh Low, Jason Bowen and Paul Brayson all came through a tough training session yesterday and are available for selection against Brighton. Scott Young also trained well and could be available. Russell Perrett will resume training next week leaving Willie Boland and Andy Thompson with long term injuries. Willie has a broken leg and will be out for another 6 weeks. Thompson at least 4 weeks. |
