Ford will get his testimonial tonight from Oxford Utd. The game is at The Manor Ground,
Oxford against a Man Utd XI. best of luck to Mike for tonight and I hope all goes well for
him. Chris Brown from Oxford Utd has
written the below preview and will write a review for us as well.
Just a reminder that Mike Ford will finally have his much deserved testimonial at
Oxford tonight where Oxford will entertain a Man Utd X1 which will consist mainly of
reserves and the odd fringe player. The Oxford side will welcome back a few old faces from
Fordy's time here., Phil Whitehead (Reading) , Phil Gilchrist & Matt Elliott
(Leicester) and Paul Moody (Millwall). Tickets have indeed been selling well and Oxford's
largest crowd of the season is predicted to reward a guy who gave 10 great years to the
club. Over 5000 tickets have already been sold for what is NOT an all ticket game and
hopefully the decent weather will entice a few more that may not have been coming. |
