City have arranged 10 friendly games in July and August. The squad travel to Ireland to kick off the pre season campaign and they play 3 games on the Emerald Isle. Some of the games back in the UK will involve heavilly the youth players but I'm sure in all games all players will be trying to stake a claim to a first team spot.

The list of games arranged is as follows.

Tuesday, July 25 v Longford Town (away);
Wednesday, July 26 v Bohemians (away);
Thursday, July 27 v St Patricks (away);
Saturday, July 29 v Swindon Town (home, 3pm);
Thursday, August 1 v Bath City (away, 7.45pm);
Thursday, August 3 v Llanelli (away);
Saturday, August 5 v Brentford (home,3pm);
Monday, August 7 v Newport County (away, 7.45pm);
Tuesday, August 8 v Haverfordwest (away, 7.30pm);
Wednesday, August 16 v Aberystwyth (away, 7.30pm).

I would expect to see a full team turn out for the Irish games and the matches against Swindon, Bath and Brentford. The four games against Welsh opposition I would think will feature the youth / reserve players.

I will of course try to offer the best coverage of all the games and for several of them hope to have full match reports.
