We know about Cardiff at Preston but what are the other relegation threatened teams upto tomorrow. Before each set of games between now and the end of the season I'll be taking a look at the other matches involving teams in the relegation fight.

Chesterfield - 24th Place. 27 points. 39 games played.
The Spirites host Wycombe Wanderers. Wycombe are currently 15th with 49 points. In my opinion safe already but could do with one more win for guaranteed safety. So I predict that a struggling Chesterfield side who know they are down already will at best manage a draw.

Blackpool - 23rd place. 35 points. 40 games played.
Blackpool face a tricky trip to Colchester. Colchester are not yet totally safe, they have 47 points and in 18th place. A win for the U's would probably secure their second division status and I think they will be too musc for Blackpool to overcome. So I predict a Colchester win.

Scunthorpe - 22nd place. 36 points. 40 games played.
Scunny entertain Luton. Luton at best will finish below the play of places so are playing for pride. Scunthorpe have more to play for so I think they might get a result against Luton. For City's sake we need Luton to win but my predicition is that Scunthorpe will get at least a draw.

Cardiff City - 21st place. 37 points. 39 games played.
A defeat for City at Preston and wins for Blackpool and Scunthorpe would see us drop to 23rd place. Still with a game in hand though over Blackpool and Scunny. I dont think that sequence will happen but if it did and Oxford or Cambridge pick up points as well then I think the hope will start to slide away not just slip. I predict though that City will get a draw.

Oxford - 20th place. 40 points. 40 games.
Oxford face Wigan at the JJB Stadium. Only one possible outcome a home banker. That's my predicition and thats what Cardiff City need to happen as well. Wigan are curently second in the table in the final automatic promotion spot.

Cambridge - 19th place. 41 points. 40 games.
Cambridge are at home to Bristol Rovers. Rovers have had a hell of time of late with two defeats against Reading and a 3 - 0 hammering at Millwall. Rovers have dropped into the play off zone after leading the table. They need the points and I predict they will bounce back and beat Cambridge. Again thats the result that Cardiff City need as well.

Colchester, Wrexham and Bury occupy 18th, 17th and 16th place respectively with 47, 47 and 48 points. All three should be safe but will be looking for an all important win that will keep ensure they do not get dragged into the scrap unfolding below them.
