City's next three matches are all cup games. On Tuesday we travel to Brighton for the
1st round match of the LDV Trophy (formely Autowindscreens) to face an in form Seagulls
side. While this is the lessor of the national cup games the side will be looking to keep
the winning run going. The final of this years Trophy is planned for the Millenium Stadium
so theres added incentive. Next Saturday we play a massive FA Cup 2nd round tie aginst Cheltenham Town. Cheltenham are one point behind us in the 3rd division and of course the winners of that tie go into the hat for the lucrative third round draw where the Man Utd's and Arsenal's of this world await. The following Tuesday we play Merthyr in the 5th FAW Cup tie. With 4 wins from 4 already in the competition this game is of little importance and will give reserve players a chance to impress. |
