Tonights game is bigger than a cup final. In a cup final you are given some sort of credit for coming runners up. Defeat tonight and relegation is the prize. Its incredible to think back to August last year, 1st game of a new second division season, high hopes, new players, possible play off dreams, but what do we get? The agony of being relegated. I cant believe it. We have two mores games left, we have to win at least one of them and not lose the other. I've gone through the scenarios before,

Lose tonight or Saturday and we are down.

Draw tonight, then we must beat Rovers on Saturday and hope Oxford lose at Millwall.

Win tonight and draw on Saturday again, Oxford must lose at Millwall.

Win tonight and win on Saturday and Oxford would have to go to The New Den and win.

Two draws will not be enough.

The City squad travelled up to Kent this morning. The same 16 that went to Stoke. Its probable that Billy Ayre will play the same starting XI but there will be no news on that until kick off time.

Two questions to ask.

1. Why not give Kurt Nogan a game? After paying £100,000 for him to save us he cannot get onto the pitch.

2. Why not use substitutes? Brayson was dead on his feet at Stoke but no subs were made.

Both questions could have been answered by bringing Nogan on for the last 20 mins.

I hope that the right decisions are made tonight.
